Spore Drift is a free, offline-friendly drifting game about reading the wind. You are a seedhead riding thermals above a valley canopy, and you never touch anything directly. The wind is drawn on screen as moving ribbons; you pull back, an arc of predicted drift unrolls along the current, and you let go. A spore cloud leaves you and the wind carries it for a second or two, bending it on the way, until it settles - and where it lands densely enough, a host bloom opens in your colour and starts yielding. Every cast is a lead-the-target prediction against a current that shifts on a named schedule, so the skill is patience and reading, not reflexes. Vitality is a budget rather than a life: blight thins you and you recover, and a run ends when you decide to stop or when the valley finally outpaces you. Colonised hosts push your rank up a named tier ladder, from the low canopy to the sky canopy above it.
