Verse Vine is a free, offline-friendly word game grown inside a glasshouse. A vine climbs the trellis one node at a time, and each node hands you a short rack of letters and a shape to satisfy - a length, a required letter, a forbidden one - so you are always answering a specific small question rather than staring at an empty field. Every word you plant becomes a leaf on the vine behind you, so the run leaves a visible trail of everything you have made. There is no timer and no failure state on the climb: the depth readout only ever goes up, and a session ends when you decide to stop rather than when a clock runs out. Constraints stack as you climb - the glasshouse asks for longer words, then pins a letter, then bans one - with a deliberate easier node after every couple of hard ones so the climb breathes. The dictionary is a small hand-picked list of common words bundled into the page, so nothing depends on obscure vocabulary or on a connection.
