Volley Bank is a merge tower defence about sizing the bet. Load crossbowmen into the great ballista - one is 12, two are 48, three are 108 - and loose it at the shield wall climbing the pass. A shield breaks only on a single hit that meets its value: undershoot and the WHOLE bolt bounces, overshoot and the excess feeds the snow. Read the badge, then decide how many to spend.
How to play
Tap an empty stand to hire a crossbowman. Tap crossbowmen to LOAD them into the great ballista (each costs a small fee and leaves the wall), then tap the ballista to LOOSE the whole charge at the frontmost shield wall. Damage grows with the square of the crew: 12, 48, 108, 192. A wall's badge shows the crew it demands - undershoot and the bolt bounces (half your crew climbs back), overshoot and the extra is wasted. Exact-size breaks temper a true-shot core; at the gate's last stone a core restores it.
