About Cog Bastion
Cog Bastion is a merge tower defence where merging costs you a gun. Two matching guards fuse into one stronger guard, and the socket they came from goes dark - but only the front row reaches the lane at low tiers, so every fusion asks whether the bigger machine will land somewhere it can actually shoot.
How to play
Tap an empty socket to build a guard. Drag one guard onto a matching one to fuse them into the next tier. Fusing frees a socket and buys reach, but spends a body, and wasted damage on small enemies is thrown away - so fusing everything is wrong. Hold a guard to see the lane it covers. Keyboard: Tab switches which guard line you build.
